Omaha Mexican Restaurant Engagement Session | G + T
Last October, Genesis and Tom contacted me about shooting their wedding and filled out my initial contact form. Genesis understood the assignment for my questions ‘Tell me more about you!’ and explained that her and Tom love going out to eat, hanging out with their dogs, and also included a link to their AMAZING and colorful wedding site. Genesis is seriously crafty and talented, and will be making their own centerpieces.
Within our first couple email exchanges, I could tell Genesis and I were hitting it off. I was giggling and vibing, and that chemistry extended through our discovery call. That is SO important to me as a wedding photographer - you are trusting someone to not only photograph your wedding day, but be with you and your spouse that whole day, so you better make sure you can stand being with them for multiple hours!
The day after first contact, Genesis sent over some ideas for their engagement session - indoor restaurant engagement photos. Genesis and Tom also told me that their dogs are family, so they wanted to incorporate them into the session if possible. Let me tell you… Tom and Genesis (and the dogs) NAILED it.
So we met at La Mesa Mexican Restaurant and started our session right there. After margaritas and chips, we drove over to OPPD Arboretum in Omaha, Nebraska, where we got some amazing outdoor photos and some cute shots with the dogs as well. It was such a blast to get to know the two of them and I am SO excited for the magic of their wedding day!
